The cowboy claims to have plenty of tricks up his sleeve, so when I give in to his challenge of playing a game of poker and I lose… big… I can’t help but feel like I played right into his hand.

I’ve been here before. There was a reason I broke up with him so long ago, but I can’t, for the life of me, remember what it was.
