Entertaining light music befitting of the Doctor and his friends assisted the narration. This is not a full fledged novel, but a short entertainment for younger children to introduce the character Doctor Dolittle and his quirky friends. The story is clever but may seem a bit repetitive for older children. The narrator did his job.
