This is a great collection of perspectives on northern Thedas after the events of Inquisition. It’s neat to meet several characters that we get to work with in Veilguard. Worth it for any dragon age fan.

A compelling, weaving setup to Veilguard

I enjoyed how well the narrator and writers paced the stories. These are all very well written and the narrator is very talented.

Played all the Dragon Age games and listened to all novels on Audible. Saw this one come up as newly added and since I enjoy all things Dragon Age, I was in. Didn’t realize it was a collection of short stories though. The performance was good and I enjoyed a third of the stories. The other stories were meh and it was difficult for me to come back and remember what was going on. It wasn’t like other novels where I was enthralled and ready for what happens next to the characters I’m invested in. It was more like…who is this character again? Wait, did I already listen to this story? Overall, not for me but, it had some moments.
