I have been a runt, a disappointment, and a monster. Now, I am simply a man.

This wouldn't be so strange if yesterday I weren't a dragon.

Locked away and isolated after a vicious attack left a princess blind, my greatest joy has been my bonded rider, Kostya.

My Kostya is a prince with the weight of a kingdom on his shoulders. When his world begins to crumble, a witch offers me the chance to escape my cell and stand beside him.

But on two legs, without my scales and claws, Kostya doesn't recognize me. He fears his dragon was stolen, and when suspicion turns my way, I learn that there are prisons darker and more dangerous than a dragon pen.

A little very big dragon finds his voice, two legs, and some delightful human appendages beyond in this MM high fantasy romance, featuring: one forlorn dragon-riding prince, a dragon who just wants to kiss the boy, two incredibly self-sacrificing doofuses, a road to pain paved with all the best intentions, and a plot to upend a kingdom.

the story is developing well and both narrators do an excellent job. my review is a bit rushed because I want to get to the next book.

there is a touch of anguish, lots of love, and tender well depicted mlm relationships.
not stand alone so definitely start with book 1.
LGBTQ+ without the fetishization. Fantasy that takes place in a mountain climate and actually describes it well.
Love confessions so sweet they'll steal your teeth. and sex that will leave you needing to phone a friend I you know what I mean.
worth your credit or your money.
buy direct from authors if you can, and always support real voice actors.

I love this writing team and the narration duo is absolutely *chefs kiss* perfect. The continuing story of this family is even, dare I say, better and more brilliant than the first! I am not one to get emotionally wrapped up in a book; however, I found myself on the edge of my seat, heart racing, sometimes flinching, and maybe wiping a tear or two away. Five stars is not a high enough rating for this story!

So beautifully written!

I just loved how this couple uplifted each other. This couple was way different from the two in book one of this series but I loved it!

Very passionate couple!

Kostya and Kirian play out a new twist on “The Little Mermaid” with more danger and intrigue. It was so sweet to see these two who share souls discover how deep their connection truly runs. It was fun and spicy and such a great time.

There was a bit of repetition in some of the emotional roller coasters that got me a bit side tracked, but the beginning was perfect and them realizing how perfect they were for each other, and actually believing it, was so heartwarming to see. The narration was remarkable as well. So sassy, so sweet and what an absolute turnaround from the first pair!

I am even more invested with the whole kill a king plot than after the first book. I want everyone to be happy and healthy!
