Zach is prepping for his wedding, but our favorite dragon king can’t sit still during wedding preparations, and when Maeva asks for his help to delve into the Fae Wilds to save her mother, he’s more than happy to get out of wedding planning.

The fae wilds are a twisting world of lost and ancient creatures. Some far older than Zach could imagine. Zach is in for a surprise when they discover a village of dragons that just might hold a key to his past.

But he’ll have to navigate the wilds and avoid creatures so large that even the dragon king looks like a tasty snack. Good thing he and his mates are up for the challenge.

Are you serious!? WHYYYYY didn't you go through all the wedding vows!? They all deserve a nice high note from planning it with summer for a little more than a month

first is the narration, they are so good. In a lot of stories with more adult fun themes, the adult fun in my experience tends to bog down the story quite a bit, but with this, the author has found a good ratio, of course if you're more of a bigger fan of a certain girl/s over others, you might not be exactly pleased, but the author does find a balance between pound town and story. In my opinion that makes up for which ladies take center stage in this book.

As far as the negative opinions, I'll say that in this book, he finds out he is a small fry to other forces out there, and unlike a lot of fights he's had so far, I think he his learning that he will need more brains in many fights over brawn. He finds out a few times that he can be overpowered, and needs to approach things more diplomatically. If you were paying attention to the previous books involving the fae you'll see that words, and how they are interpreted are just as deadly/helpful in this installment.

very happy with it as a whole.

I have no idea why but this felt a bit rushed and even though it’s about the same as all the rest it just felt like there needed to be more “in-between” if that makes sense? Bruce addressed the rushed wedding at the end but it would have been amazing to see each of the First 8 lucky ladies truly represented. That being said. Love the story, series, character depth, and the way things are coming together. Obviously the end is being set up for a big bad but to me that’s just all apart of the setting.

Giving it 5 stars with a small complaint

This book felt like it was a lot of setting up future installments, bringing closure to a few loose ends, and introducing another faction thought lost. It was all done in a way that felt actually interesting and enjoyable as opposed to a chore.
