Sci-fi romance

An excellent sci-fi romance adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story. The narrator on the audiobook was pleasant to listen to. Great writing.

Great storytelling

This is a wonderful audiobook. I have often tried the audio book for a novel that I have read myself and mostly they have not been as good as the books themselves. Elle Sonali is a wonderful voice artist and puts so much into the characterisation. I really enjoyed this.
This is the part of a series whereby dragons find their fated mates on Earth. Archard was guarding the Queen's eggs when he was pulled from his home planet of Charok to Earth. He was by no means the only one but while he feels the pull to this home he is also feeling a pull to Kaylee. Kaylee is an archeologist in training who is also feeling the pull to Charok but doesn't fully know why. If she hadn't dabbled with a spell she would not have met Archard though. She is a bit high-strung at times but I still liked her. He is a bit growly but you can't blame him.

I felt as this was a slow burn romance, but really enjoyable to listen to. Kaylee is a determined woman who will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. She feels as some thing is missing in her life but not sure what it is. Archerd is a man who is bound by duty. He is aggressive and hostile when he meets Kaylee for the first time. There is a lot going on and it for them to see their feelings for each other.

Dragons royal guard

Very interesting story we meet Kaylee and her family in the beginning of the story they seem like regular people but are really dragons from another world as they try to go back via a magical spell they suck into our world the last of the dragons from their world meeting archers and his family after exploring earth for awhile Kaylee and archers manage to go back to the home planet where they continue to develop feelings for each other and make some suprising discovery despite some conflict they get a very happy ending I received a free copy of this audio book via book sprout and wanted to leave a review

Kaylee has a way with words...

This out of this world story has shifters, magic, beings trying to figure out where they truly belong, with a dash of wrestling with duty thrown in to keep it real.

Kaylee has some really fun moments, and when the tables are turned she remembers when the shoe was on the other foot, making her responses even more entertaining.
