In light of this, she sets out on a journey to rebuild a village and rise against the coterie, fueled by a desire to avenge her friend.

Samara's new life away from the Sacred Flame coterie has opened her eyes to a different world. Traveling with a group of actors, she searches for the lost royal—her best hope to stand against the coterie's rule, rebuild the kingdom, and serve as a stepping stone to free Paxton.
