Along with blacksmith and inventor Jack Rojax and Kaitlyn de Belvort, daughter of Sir Justin, Reb faces a devious court, drowning in debt and vying for power as Draxfort, a castle and dynasty rotten to the core, descends into financial crisis, duels, battles and sieges, in a fight for the crown and the unwilling hand of Princess Sharon, heir to the throne.

Not another fighting, fornicating, puerile quest with daft beasts and elfish maidens, there’s no consulting a mirror-mirror, or stepping through one come to that.
