"It all came crashing down."

Xian has had peace for over a year. The land is starting to thrive once more under the guidance of King Kang-Dae and his Seer Queen Serenity. The bond between the couple has never been stronger. The forces that sought to destroy and take their home were cut down. This should be their happily ever after... or so they thought. But a dream has Serenity and the whole palace worried. What if their victory wasn't a victory? What if it was just the beginning of the end of everything?

I was excited to finish the fifth book. I really wanted to know what happened to the two best friends trying to figure their stuff out but besides that I loved it.

Suspense and intrigue.

Book 4 gave me so much anxiety! At any moment I thought we would have a red wedding type ending and I was on edge the whole time. The narration is great and the voice carries all the emotions that the reader ought to feel. I was nervous, scared, eager to find out more but scared to listen for more because I was so scared for the protagonists. Some days, I became such a nerve-ball that I would take a day or two-break but came back. I am glad I found this series. Beautifully written and read and a time-bending love story. Now I am waiting for a new series to find out what happens to Jungsoo and Reeal. I want more!

Epic it was
