Price of Choosing Truth

atmospheric and dark

Loved the dark and moody vibe and the found family stuff was spot on. It’s a bit of a slow burn at the start but the ending is absolutely massive. Good quality sound and performance as well. Worth a listen if you're into these types of stories.

Dreamer

Second book of Dreamer. A fun and good read. This book give me very Final Fantasy game retro vibe but in a book instead of a game. This is for fantasy type lover to read and enjoy. Felt like an advantage reading this Hero journey style book.

Maps and Magic

I was really impressed by the creative ideas in this sequel, especially the part where whispers turn into actual doors. It makes the world feel like it is falling apart in a way that is both beautiful and terrifying to imagine. The pacing is just right, so it never feels slow or like it's dragging on too long. It’s a solid adventure that really expands on the world we saw in the first book.

The mind can create its own reality

The idea of dreams becoming dangerous reflects how powerful imagination and anxiety can feel real when left unchecked. It made me think about how the mind doesn’t always clearly separate what is real from what is feared, especially when emotions are intense. Sometimes worries can grow in our heads until they feel just as overwhelming as actual events, even if nothing is truly happening yet. It’s a reminder that unchecked thoughts can distort perception and create fear that feels very real in the moment.
