At the edge of the abyss, where the Blake Plateau abruptly gives way to the deepest parts of the Atlantic Ocean, biologists investigate the largest marine die-off in history. An Everest-style base camp supporting scientists, staff, and eco-tourists sits at the edge of the drop-off, but the scientific mission turns to one of survival when mutant sea creatures threaten the base.

Steven Hunte is a sea dog for hire, an ex-Navy biologist turned environmental activist who's been hired to support scientists studying the die-off. When the base is attacked and overrun, Hunte must fight for the sea he loves or watch it be destroyed, along with everyone he cares about.

Poor Narration

Had to back up too many times to try to understand what was being said. Will avoid this narrator in future.

Brutally Entertaining!

Struggled to start but well worth finishing. Survival of the luckiest or fittest and yet brutally honest on if the characters will make it.

thought it was pretty good

listened to while driving and flying. thought it was unique. kept burning harder and harder tell the end. lots of people getting taken out.

Good book, worth a listen

Good dialogue and an original plot. I liked it. The narration was good. I felt like the plot was a little thin but overall it was good. Would listen again.

Average Tale. Poor Narration.

Story was okay. Average at best. Not that great of a tale. Poor character development. And antagonists were not very scary. No suspense or sense of urgency. Better stories of this ilk are on this platform. Feel I wasted a credit on this one.
