“Could I have put these on backwards? the wrong way?” She questioned herself, whispering. She then called Kaanin to see why he left her at the office sleep and if he had finished the project. But she got no answer. She gathered her things and rushed to the car and returned Cheng and her mother’s call.

She had buried that night in the back of her mind until her dream made her face it. She could see Kaanin forcing himself on her this time and she was sick to her stomach. “Did he drug me? And rape me?” She asked herself, trying not to scream out loud.

She rushed as fast as any pregnant woman could in her condition, to the restroom vomiting in the toilet. She turned the shower on to wash the dirty thoughts and any memories off as she hysterically cried holding her mouth not to wake Cheng, sitting in the corner as the water fell on top of her head. “Dear Lord could this be Kaanin’s baby?”
