Service dogs are the hands, legs, eyes, or ears of a person with disabilities. Labrador retrievers and German shepherds are well suited for the work of a service dog. They have a love of people and great energy. They are strong, calm, and patient. They do not chase other dogs, birds, squirrels, or cats. They excel at all kinds of jobs when properly trained.

The dog in this book served a nine year old girl. The book covers the dogs interaction with the one it served and those around them in public settings. It is a very positive and affirming.
This book is well written and the narrator did a fantastic job!
I highly recommend this book for educators! This book would definitely benefit someone making a decision regarding the obtaining of a service dog. This book would also benefit someone who would like to show support to someone who has a service dog.
