Summer vacation in a small town doesn't offer much to do. I was 14 years old at the time and looking for something meaningful to fill my hours. I found it just a block down the street. I walked through the front door of the Nursing Home and took a look around. This was nothing I had ever seen before. I will say, it wasn't very pleasant. There were so many very sad people and apparently they needed some help. Before I knew it, I had a schedule and was working in many areas of the facility. Here are some of my stories.
