Now she’s forced to team up with the last person she should trust: the Tin Woodman. A heartless mercenary with an axe to grind and nothing left to lose. Because the Wizard didn’t just steal his heart, he took Tin’s little brother, Gabriel, too.

Everything about Tin is dangerous. And the closer Dorothy gets, the harder it is to tell what scares her more—his blade, or the fire he ignites within her.

But defeating the Wizard won’t be easy. His magic hums beneath every brick and coils through every whisper, until you’re walking in circles on the Yellow Brick Road. He has all of Oz under his spell and more power than anyone. Or does he?

Because Dorothy is more than she seems, and the longer she’s in Oz, the more she remembers. Things about her past, about what she is, and about the magic awakening inside her.
