I loved how you schooled us in this book! You took me for a ride gave me a reality check all in one. I really enjoyed this. I will agree with every word of the last two chapters. I do a lot of giving back to the younger generation here in my hometown of Flint. I feel it’s important to give back and teach the arts the root of the arts. Much love and respect brother! I have seen most of your work so I felt as if I was traveling in time with you as you told your story. I even cussed out loud a few times while at work making everyone stop and look at me like I was crazy! I wish you luck and prosperity on your endeavors with the up and coming generations!

ignore the curious turns of phase, and curious adjective use. It's part of who he is. He is a New Yorker. Get into it and get over it.

this was a great read! love his honesty and heart. would definitely recommend this to others.

Not What I expected, in a good way!

Ron Perlman is a fantastic actor imho, and as a fan I wanted to hear how he became that way. Ron doesn't disappoint and he shares some really personal stories with the listener. He also manages to share some of his wisdom and the tools he uses in his everyday life to help him get through those bad times.

I highly recommend this book, even if you only know him from SOA, you will be amazed at the journey he took to get here!
