I TOTALLY CONNECT WITH THE MAIN CHARACTER!!!

I loved this book. The narrator was like listening to a great friend tell you her story. Giana's story is one so many of us can connect with! Dealing with serious issues like vacillating between soothing and stuffing down her emotions with food and being hooked on diet pills while trying to conform to the worlds view of beauty. Giana's journey of healing, embodiment and learning to love her self is so important. Along her journey of self discovery she picks up so many important tools for healing and shares them in her story. The family dynamics, boy troubles and growing pains that we all go through are told in a relatable, laugh out loud fashion. I'm telling all the women i love to read this for sure!

Puts words to what happens for many women with food

This is a great book that showcases what lessons are in the struggle of a women’s relationship with food.

It is highly relatable and the imagery in the writing gets you to think about your own relationship with food and the voices in your head.

Through reading this book, you get the opportunity to learn and go through the lessons with the main character.
