This book gathers sufficient material to completely damn factory farms and slaughter houses and to call into serious question the eating of animals. I am very glad I read it and am pretty dure it has changed my eating for the restof my life, an occu6I would never have believed possible. My only complaint about the book was the narration, which I found slow, a bit pompous, and less than wonderful.

I have been listening to this book over 5 months. Through each chapter I found myself looking at animal products differently. If the content is true, it is concerning.

Life changing

I still cannot comprehend how a person could be a vegan and building humane slaughterhouses and supporting farmers doing so. Eating animals humane or not is not necessary especially in our current times.

A LNG interesting read....
