Abby is an ordinary seventeen-year-old living with her family in Northern California, or so she thinks.

The night of her graduation, everything changes. After a strange accident, Abby wakes up to find she has been transported to another planet named Ozam with beautiful lands and more advanced cities than Earth.

This new world would change everything she had ever believed was true, yet it is a place she somehow knew from the depths of her childhood dreams.

However, just as she is settling into this new way of life, everything starts to shift. She soon learns that she has been a part of this world all along and holds the ability of seeing future events and remotely viewing past and present events as they occurred, ranging powerfully long distances. She is becoming aware of the importance of her gifts and is now being hunted by rival leaders in order to use her visions for their own gains and to prevent any rulers of Ozam from having any future insight from her.

Abby is assigned under the protection of Kaden Zoraan until they can stop her hunters, and though their relationship is strictly forbidden, they are inexplicably drawn to each other.

Can Kaden keep her safe despite his growing feelings for her, or will she fall prey to those who find her?

Echoes of a Seer is book 1 in the Starbinds Series. For the best listening experience, it is recommended to listen to the books in order.

Slow start that blooms into an exciting adventure

Even though the story began with a slower pace while setting up the plot and characters, I ended up really enjoying Echoes of a Seer! Once the groundwork was laid, the story truly took off and pulled me into a fascinating world.

I listened to the audiobook version and really enjoyed the narrator. She did a wonderful job bringing Abby’s journey and the world of Ozam to life. The narration added an extra layer of emotion and excitement that made the story even more immersive.

Abby’s transformation from an ordinary teenager in Northern California to a key figure on the planet Ozam was both imaginative and thrilling. The vivid world-building, combined with the slow reveal of Abby’s incredible abilities, seeing future events and remotely viewing distant moments, kept me hooked. I also really liked the dynamic between Abby and Kaden Zoraan, whose forbidden bond added an emotional tension to the story.

By the end, I was fully invested and eagerly anticipating what’s next for Abby and the world of Ozam. I’m definitely looking forward to listening to book two in the Starbinds Series!

Teen romance

Great story line with strong leading characters… only wish we would hear more about the original group of teens

Not My Usual Fare, But SO Good!!

This is not my typical go-to genre, but I am so glad I took a few steps outside my normal realm of reading to take a chance on this book!!! I wasn't sure what to make of it at first (the world is already flooded with teenage angsty drama books), BUT it quickly morphed into so much more! There's still bits and pieces of that YA drama, but it is dwarfed by the adult and political drama, the intrigue and mystery, and the unanticipated dangers seeming to lie in wait around almost every corner! It took a few chapters, but once this book hooked me, I could not put it down! I stayed out in my car longer to get a few more chapters in before coming in the house on multiple occasions...and I am not sorry!! (just don't tell my sweetheart or the cats!) I was going to wait for the audiobooks of the 2nd and 3rd book in the series to come out....but I think I might have to cave and read the ebooks instead, I just have to know what's going to happen!!!

the series is off to a great start and the narrator has done a good job. Really enjoying the story and looking forward to the next one.

This was a fun Fantasy Scifi book. It was well written and the narrator did a great job.
