How could the performance have been better?
It's a great translation and a great work, but the fact that multiple readers take turns reading what is in fact an essay, even a monologue, is incredibly disorienting. The fact that they switch off unpredictably, sometimes after ten minutes, sometimes after a short paragraph, sometimes after a short sentence (or part of a sentence) each, and with no good reason, makes it almost impossible to focus. If you need Seneca (and Seneca's amazing), try literally any other version. Why multiple readers?
