Elizabeth’s unique combination of slow magical conduction and extreme magical sensitivity makes her highly effective at creating new magical inscriptions, so much so that she publishes her first one at the tender age of only eighteen with the help of her father. However, she publishes it under the name E. Bennet to avoid revealing her gender.

This magical inscription, which aids in the precise sheering of sheep, caught the eye of Mr. Darcy, who happens to own an estate with over two thousand sheep. When he writes to the mysterious E. Bennet, creator of the inscription, to ask a few questions, he unexpectedly begins an ongoing correspondence that lasts almost two years. Over this time, Mr. Darcy begins to consider E. Bennet a friend.

A lucky invitation gives Darcy a chance to meet his mysterious letter-writing friend, and he jumps at the opportunity, even if it means staying in the home of one of his more social climbing friends, Mr. Bingley. When E. Bennet turns out to be a female, Darcy must confront some of his most deeply held beliefs about the female sex.

Many side characters have new personalities in this magic-filled Pride and Prejudice variation, but at its core it is still the story of how Elizabeth and Darcy overcome their pre-conceptions and fall in love, facing challenges together in the process.

Great unique storyline

Fantastic storyline, very unique and original. Virtual voice is mediocre, but glad that it offers increased access to stories

I want to finish but I can’t the VV!

The description of the story is interesting and the characters nuances seem promising but the monotone droning of the VV saps all my interest and energy 😩

Boring

There is no magic here. I gave it two stars because I was able to finish it, but…. That was the longest 6 hours or so of my life. The dialogue is flat, the plot is predictable, and the characters are one dimensional.
