Chilling and captivating book with an outstanding story and narrator!

Wow I loved listening to Embermere I couldn’t put it down! The author instantly sucks you into the story with a crazy start and a mystery you have to uncover with multiple twist and turns. If you are a fan of the show From or Stranger things this is a perfect book for you. I even got some resident evil vibes! I didn’t want it to end but it did in the best way possible. The narrator does an amazing job by switching between characters and gives each character a unique sound which make sit easy to follow along! Can’t wait to see what book comes next from my new favorite author Mikayla Buckman !

Great book

4.5 book. Embermere is a haunting and atmospheric novel that pulls readers into a mysterious world filled with secrets, tension, and a strong sense of place. From the beginning, the story builds an eerie tone that keeps you curious about what is really happening beneath the surface. The author does a great job of creating vivid descriptions, making Embermere feel almost like its own living character.
