Love everything

God, what an amazing book, but I would expect nothing less from Pepper Winters. I especially absolutely LOVE the male narrator. I hope he does more romance books in the future. 😍

Just Get it Already

If you made it through book one you know you NEED this one! Well worth the credit. I thought it was better than the first book actually. I was worried for a minute in there- I'm not into vanilla triumphing over evil- but never fear! My worries were unfounded😈🥵😉👍🏻👍🏻 like I said… better than the first one😏😈. Narration was top-notch, good amount from both character POVs, kept me interested the whole way through, does end on an EXTREMELY frustrating, yet enticing cliff hanger. I highly recommend. Just get it already… you know you want too🫦

Just when I think there's no way this series gets darker, Pepper goes ARE YOU SURE? 😂 This book is torture, spice, some more torture, some more spice and a wicked cliffhanger that has me pulling my hair out before remembering I thankfully have an ARC of Sapphire Scars 🙌🏼

I can't get enough of Henri. He is so morally charcoal black that he doesn't even realize he's not good for even Ily. I'm almost positive he thinks his dubcon is as romantic as rose petals and candles and it makes my heart break for him all the while making my heart palpitate because he's just so dang hot.

Ily is something FIERCE. That woman can not be broken and I absolutely adore her. I love the connections she's made with her fellow jewels and while I'm not sure how she's going to eventually fall for Henri, I am 100% here for it.

The audio is duet narration and absolutely fantastic. Lucy Jessica and Luke William Bromley did such a phenomenonal job telling this story and I had an amazing time listening today.

I have 3 hrs left so not finished but i saw reviews on the other books so needed to say this!

I saw other reviews saying the male narrator has a weird voice and they couldn’t listen to it but I think he’s actually amazing he’s playing a guy who’s basically dead inside and that’s what he sounds like. When you hear him playing the other characters like Peter he sounds very different and his American accent for one of the jewels WHAT!? I agree henri sounds very robotic but it fits him. I’m so mad at henri this part of the book I dk wtf he’s doing it’s getting a little crazy and I’m kinda scared to see how much darker it gets but also can’t wait 😂

The narrators are perfection!!!

Pepper winters is one of my favorite authors. She never disappoints. The narrators bought this story to life ❤️
