Brilliant!

This series was amazing! Sound effects were great and the narration were excellent. There were a lot of twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat listening. Never saw the ending coming. Would love it if Mr. Adams would continue the series.

A labyrinthine story with many terrifying secrets to reveal

Received as an audio copy to review from the narrator, this is an honest review. Just as with Ransome and Horizon, narrator Brandon J. Peterson continues his hauntingly beautiful performance that makes this twisted and poignant series so wickedly memorable. From the outside of it, a beautiful icy world seems like a perfect haven against the absolute terror that Roman Knight, Harry Ransome, Samantha Barns, Drucilla and their crews experience in their journey across the stars to save humanity. But this glistening planet is more a place that is straight out of someone's demented nightmare; where a scientist's desperation to help his ailing daughter morphs into terrifying experiments that creates dangerous creatures you'd never wanted to meet. Surviving even a day on his world is something of a miracle. Emergence is packed from beginning to end with so many hauntingly insane secrets of desperation, betrayal and revenge that has fueled this adventure of carnage; once you taken it all in, it'll change how you experience this series.

Great Team - Lots of Action and Excitement!

Harry Ransome, a guy who has been missing for 150 years and presumed dead meets up with Drusilla and Roman Knight – revenge, survival, and revelations occur. How far-reaching are the mysterious creatures slowly taking over the universe, able to go before humankind stops them?

The author, David W. Adams, crafts a mesmerizing world filled with believable plot twists that keep the listener intrigued throughout. He skillfully unfolds the timeline and the secret of the aliens, building suspense and thrills with deliberate pacing. The dialogue feels authentic and well-suited to each character, enhancing the overall immersion in the story. Although this is the second book in the series, Adams structures it in a way that allows new listeners to enjoy the story independently, while still rewarding those familiar with the first installment.

Brandon J. Peterson, narrator, delivers a masterful narration, skillfully capturing the essence of each character, scene, and action with impressive nuance. His dynamic energy and precise pacing keep listeners fully engaged and immersed in the unfolding narrative. Peterson’s clear, well-controlled delivery and versatile vocal range bring depth and authenticity to every performance. His deep familiarity with the characters is evident, allowing him to portray each character with smooth distinction and effortless consistency.
