Have you ever had an encounter with someone that changed your life? The first time that Jim (now my husband) spoke to me, I fled because I was extremely shy. But that encounter changed my life because I realized that my shyness (pride), was causing me to miss out on a relationship that I wanted to pursue.Jesus is the Living Word and He makes Himself known to us in a variety of ways. His greatest desire is to have an intimate relationship with us, to engage Himself in our lives and for us to engage in Him and His life. Many of us are ignorant of God encounters. Some of us are aware and yet run from Him in fear, pride or rebellion just as I did when Jim first spoke to me. And some run to Him.God’s Word is alive and active! He holds the keys that overcome sin, bondage and death, keys that defeat the enemy of our soul, and that help us walk boldly and intimately with the Living Word. Encounters with Him will change our lives.
