In a world without war, peace abides everywhere. There’s no crime, hunger, or homelessness. Yet, catastrophic events have changed America’s terrain. Now, divided in half by an earthquake separating the east from the west, the population has dwindled to a mere one hundred and fifty million, all living on the eastern coast, governed by the WGO (World Government Order).
As a government employee, Dr. Rylee Cooper follows their rules and regulations. Content with her life as an archeologist and a professor at the Institute, going about her daily life has never been a worry. Not until an unexplained homeless man warns her about the end and a danger coming. In less than a day, her peaceful, content life is hurled into a world of chaotic confusion, disbelief, and fear.
