Teenage depression

This was a touching love story about teenagers who separate for years before getting to know each other again as adults. Typical love story, but the handling of teenage depression may be a warning to some parent who reads this book and is able to recognize the symptoms in one of their own.

Abuse

Abuse and mental health kept me hidden from my friends. Even later when I thought I had overcome my hurt and fear it was strange to realize it was still there.

Touching, Heartfelt Romance

This one took me by surprise. I love this author's stories and the way she writes, but there was just something about this book that drew me in even more than I expected. There was angst, a touching and dramatic backstory, and of course a developing romance. There was also surprising twists that I didn't see coming. And the best part is always the satisfaction from the HEA ending.
Another great thing about her books us her choice in narrators. Elizabeth Powers is THE voice of Ms. Scott's wonderful world of intertwined characters from Maine to Colorado, to California and everywhere in between. When I listen to one of her audiobooks, I am delighted by the level of professional talent I know I'm going to get from Ms. Powers.

Another great listen!

I really enjoyed this book! I've fallen hard for this family, and these characters were no exception. I listened nearly straight through and enjoyed the narration as well.

Thank you Jan Scott for writing this wonderful series of beautiful stories. I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated them.
