The gospel is the offering of God's presence to men. It is the invitation into a life of experiencing God. The inspiration of our lives must be our past experiences of him; our satisfaction must be our present experience of him; our hunger is for our future experiences of him. I would much rather touch him than attempt to define him. I would rather move him than seek to simply understand him. I would rather know him than merely perform his works. Are you with me? First, I love all of the books, music and messages that God has used Eric to share. There are a lot of people who were raised in religious systems from my generation who realize there's more than what they were raised in. But, because of their mindset, are frustrated in their failed attempts to get closer to God. This book helped me break out of some paradigms and take that next step in my journey. If you were one of those who thinks it's about your report card instead of His, listen to this and let Holy Spirit open your eyes to a better way to walk this out... God bless!

This book echoes the burning desire in me to draw closer to Jesus. It doesn't stop there, but gives you practical ways to do so amidst busy schedules. It reveals that the gospel of Christ transcends written text and is a vibrant experience of the person of Jesus. Definitely a must read for all who are seeking a deeper relational experience of Him.
