Story is great! Performance was ok

The story was absolutely fantastic! The reading wasn’t very good but the voices were done really well. Highly recommend the book though!

Grace sometimes grates on my nerves

Liked the story overall, but Grace and her stance on things sometimes annoys the hell out of me

One of my favorite series

In Envy we meet Evan, one of the Deadly Seven, a family of genetically modified human protectors of Cardinal City who can each sense one of the seven deadly sins. Evan blames himself for failing his family and his city 2 years ago, leaving Cardinal City without their protectors.

Dr. Grace Go lost her parents in the bombing that the Deadly Seven were accused of causing. However Grace knows the truth, she saw the person who was responsible.

Evan and Grace’s worlds collide as they both search for the truth of what happened in the past and discover if they can have a future together.

This book had such a unique story line that I was drawn right into. Evan struggles to both find his path again and redeem himself in both his own eyes and his family’s. This is a wonderful fated mate story and I love this book and the whole series. Karen White does an amazing job bring this story to life.

Fabulous Audio of a Fantastic Book

I'm not always a fan of the audio versions of my favorite books, but this did not disappoint!

Envy is a fantastic story. It has everything you need in a great SciFi epic. Genetic engineering, super humans, super powers, excitement, intrigue... but more important than the super human aspect is the humanizing of these extraordinary beings.

The story is amazing. The characters are endearing and believable. The setting is gritty and fantastic.

Do yourself a favor, get sucked into the world of the Deadly Seven!
