The truth of the bible is presented in the form of facts with little option. Major questions were answered with scripture and there was a comprohensive flow the the presentation of the subject.

it makes me furious and drives me even further away from god and only adds to my despair

Hopeless

At the end of this, I felt a bit hopeless and fearful. I’m sure that was not the author's intent, but now I am questioning my understanding of what God’s definition of love is versus my hopeful belief that it is something it may not be.
