Escaping Christmas

Nakinah Rowlands, an elementary school principal and the eldest of three sisters, is tired of her family taking advantage of her. When she overhears one of sisters planning to palm off hosting Christmas dinner on her, Nakinah decides enough is enough. Instead of catering to her family's whims, she books a solo holiday getaway to a luxurious resort in Trinidad, with plans to sip cocktails, and maybe enjoy a little island fling.

Enter Ambrose Chapman, a charming bartender who usually keeps his distance from the guests. But there's something different about Nakinah—her genuine nature and strong spirit draw him in. Their connection quickly heats up with private tours of the island and passionate nights under the stars. Yet, Ambrose is hiding a secret: he's not just a bartender, but a wealthy athlete enjoying a break from the spotlight.

As their week together ends, Ambrose realises he doesn't want to lose the only woman who sees him for who he really is, but revealing the truth might risk everything. Can their connection survive beyond the sands of Trinidad, or will it be just a holiday affair?
