Esoteric Origin of Heliocentrism

The most authoritative philosophers and historians of science agree in stating that the Copernican revolution did not originate from astronomical motivations but from ideological reasons. Both Copernicus and Galileo shared the Pythagorean doctrine, with an anti-Christian background, even before developing the shaky astronomical model that symbolized it. So, if scientific reasons were not what led to the birth and dominance of the heliocentric model, to what extent does the idea of the Earth's movement correspond to reality? This work presents precisely this "counter-history" of heliocentrism. The chapters can be read non-sequentially, leaving open the possibility that they contain an element of truth that has not yet been considered.
