A wonderful exploration of the Heart Sutra

Essence of the Heart Sutra provides an excellent exploration of the Heart Sutra. Explores depth of each verse and explains in a way both novice and experienced Buddhists, as well as non Buddhists, can understand.

I highly recommend this book.
So well written, easy to follow and understand.
I have the physical book, it was nice to follow along while listening, also easy to make notes.
Definitely a book I will pick up at intervals.
The narrator, Gabra Zackman has a very nice voice.

A beautiful transmission of essential wisdom for all Mahayana practitioners; teachings that ornament the ear of the fortunate disciple; so meaningful to behold.

An Excellent Overview

I enjoyed this book though it kind of feels like drinking from a fire hose, which, I think, robbed it of some of the deport spirit of Buddhism.
