This story is more like a 3.75. It's HOT, so it's only for those, like myself, who don't mind explicit language. Though it's not chock full of sex scenes, nor or they gratuitous or repetitive, IMO. The sex scenes are also sensual and not just raw. So there's a level of romance that's yummy. Another good aspect of the book is it's thoroughness and depth within the storyline, which created a significant degree of realism and logic in this paranormal tale. Also, though I've listened to other books in this series, I don't think it's necessary to in order to enjoy this book. The narrator did a good job, especially with the British & Scottish accents, but there was little difference among the male voices and among the female voices. Still, it didn't detract from the story. It's just that the story was good but not memorable. You are left with a bit of a cliffhanger to spur us to get the next story, but you do know what happens in the end to the main characters in this story. So that's good.

Good but not Great

Would you consider the audio edition of Eternal Captive to be better than the print version?

Yet another good book! I haven't been able to put them down! This book kept me wanting to know more and more and I ended up staying up til like 3 in the morning til the book was done! I have only been like this with 2 other series... one was Twilight and one was Fifty Shades of Gray! It has made my collection of books! It's easy to follow and the Narrator is one of my FAVES!

My Oh My!
