Would you try another book from Catherine Coulter and/or Chloe Campbell?

No problem with Catherine Coulter books it's the person reading it that is killing me.

What didn’t you like about Chloe Campbell’s performance?

Chloe Campbell should find a different job cause her reading is really really bad - this was nothing more then a waist of a credit

Good story poor performance

I must say this not one of Catherine's best book, but it was interesting enough. It was a good enough read however the narrator was not suitable. Chloe is believe is more suitable for children's stories and not adult romance. If there was a stronger narrator, this book may have turned out to be a lot better and more interesting but Chloe did not pull that off.

Could have been better

The audio performer was not what I had hoped for in the Star quartet novels that I read 25 years ago.

Enjoyed the innocence of the story.

This is a great wonderful romance story and I absolutely LOVE Catherine Coulter but the narrator is not very good. Please stick with Anne Flosnik for these kinds of books.

Great Book

When oh when are the publishing houses going to realise that the narrator can make or break a book!!?? Slow start, I nearly stopped listening to it, but persevered and thankfully it did get better. I just couldn't relate to the main character - a 17 year old heiress that is spoilt rotten and won't listen to anyone so she is sent away to Rome for 3 months. But her Uncle takes her to a seedy brothel and accidentally sells her virginity to a rich American.

Fast forward 4 years - she has now grown up (and is more likeable) but she is totally disillusioned with men and marriage. She and her mother has to do business with the rich American who wants what he paid for and won't take no for an answer.

Do I think I wasted my credit - No

Would I download the next in the series - Probably

Annoying start but got better
