Obsessed

I loved this book so much!!!! I am not a huge audiobook girlie but this one was everything I wanted in an audio! The way the narrator brought the story and characters to life kept me totally into to story and I could feel myself falling into the world, best audiobook I have ever listen to. I cannot wait for the third book!!!!

Dark Famtasy

Wow! Love that we really got to know the characters! The twists!! I can’t decide if I like the Dark Wielder or not! This is some epic world building and I’m intrigued at where this is going! Falcon is the ultimate shadow daddy!! Ophelia is the Goddess of Light. Perfect!!!

The audiobook in particular is done well. I love the narrators voice even at 1.75 speed. Her voice impressions are awesome and adds great emotion! Definitely recommend!!!

I used this opportunity to do an immersive reading experience using the audiobook while following along in the physical book. I listened to the audiobook with narration on 2x and felt the narration was still very clear and easy to follow. Shannon did an amazing job during her narration for all the character voices and bringing the story to life!

Now let’s talk about the story - spoiler free! The story of this book really moves the plot along! I loved how we had more of The Darkwielder and got to see more of his past. Having all the characters from the first book separated, it was interesting see how they navigate their new problems along with trying to find each other and work towards their main goal. The plot twists… and answers we have gotten… and the new questions!!! Omg… Sarah is a plot twist genius, and I need book 3 sooooooon! Especially with that “after” scene 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
