Lauren Mitchell wasn’t looking for a second chance at love.

She’s built a life she’s proud of, filled with meaningful work, close friendships, and the quiet stability she’s fought to reclaim. Then she meets Blake Archer at a work convention, and a single conversation turns into something neither of them expected.

Blake is everything she shouldn’t want—steady, kind, and complicated in a way that draws her in despite her best intentions. What starts as a slow-burn connection fueled by late-night texts and conference coffees becomes something deeper, making Lauren wonder if she’s allowed to want more.

But Blake has his own secrets, and a past he can’t fully leave behind. As their worlds begin to overlap, they’ll have to decide if love is worth the risk and if trusting each other is worth the fall.

Every Tuesday After is a warm, emotional contemporary romance about healing, friendship, and the courage it takes to believe in yourself again and the love that finds you when you least expect it.

Crystal Lay has an amazing way of writing the deep feelings and predicaments that we can all get into with desire, disappointment and love. The characters are relatable and well developed. Working in higher education made the story even more enjoyable to listen to. For a fun time with some steamy interludes, I highly recommend this book.
