I sit kinda lonely at this present time in my life...
There are so many things that I have done during my life…
Seems I have lost everything that has been dear to me, except my boys and my grandkids… and several good friends that I still have…

Always able to make new friends it seems as days go by...

The words I write are from the heart and I seem to always be searching for subjects that pour out my feelings…

Most are from heartfelt experiences… even if it's just a cloud passing on any given day...

I keep searching and searching for a deepfelt happiness...
I guess we all just want to be happy... and content...

I look back and there have been many times, but each time I have lost that very happiness trying to find something else... and I just do not know what it is...
Married twice... lost them... a short relationship here and there... lost them... and a long relationship for 29 years and that just ended...

So, all seems to have been lost and I continue to blame myself...

I keep wanting to tie it all back to the war of Vietnam...
I was lucky and didn't have it bad there... other than the shock of having to go... and being separated from my home world…

Who knows... not me... so I will give thanks today for my 4 boys and my 6 grandkids... 2 boys and 4 girls...
And all my dear friends that have hung in there with me... past and present...

Jesus has always been with me I think through it all... and believe me when I say this… I have many faults...
I could not have made it this far without him...

Thanks to Theresa Nichols for putting these books together for me...
She appeared one day and had confidence in me that I couldn't see in myself…

Thank you to my family… past and present...
Thank you to all my many friends...
Thanks to my mom and dad for always being there... they are gone now, but always in my heart…
