Aaron Rogers is a former two time IFL MVP who’s in a bit of a rut. He has been bounced around the league after legal issues, league wide suspension and his play becoming despicable at best. Ending up living a life of a loser.
An assistant coach from the Bismarck Thunderbirds, Dom Capers, ends up seeing Aaron’s arm throwing lobs from his house. He gets pressed to find the gift he’s been given.
The Thunderbirds are lacking a quarterback because of the league wide lockout, shortening the season and restricting the star players that could be picked up.
With Head Coach Bicheck not winning a championship ring in his over 40 year career, he finds this opportunity too enticing not to indulge Capers and Aaron.
Aaron eventually has to deal with his family, the media, the Thunderbirds organization. Along with the predators who search around the sport, usually waiting on a good opportunity to capitalize off of the most susceptible people. He will be pushed to his limits for his love of football.
