Basic Instincts

Set in Naples in the 1930s, this mystery novel explores how the basic instincts of love, passion, hunger, jealousy and fear drive human’s to commit criminal acts. It is complex, spellbinding and very Italian. I couldn’t put it down.

all the elements are presented but understanding how they fit together isn't clear until the end. good read.
