A simple but powerful book about leading

Listening to this book felt like getting friendly advice from someone who really understands what it means to lead. The book didn't use hard words, and it explains things in a clear and honest way that makes you think about how you treat others. I really like this book that it shows leadership isn’t just about big actions or having a high position. It’s about small things like listening, being fair, and showing respect.
This book helped me see that anyone can be a leader if they lead with kindness and purpose.

This had some good advice on leadership - there was some interesting stuff on influence. It was all fairly easy to understand. I love a bit of human psychology and this didn't disappoint. 4 Stars.

Surprisingly practical and motivating

As someone who works as an office clerk, I wasn’t sure if a book about leadership and influence would really speak to my daily life. It really surprised me in a good way. It’s not just for CEOs or high powered executives it’s full of practical advice that can help anyone who interacts with people regularly. The first part of the book, 17 Secrets of True Leadership, helped me better understand how to build trust and communicate clearly, especially in situations where I need to support my team or deal with tricky conversations at work. It gave me confidence to speak up more and not second guess myself. The second part focuses more on psychology and influence, and I found that section really eye opening. It breaks down why people respond to certain types of communication and how to connect with others in a more authentic and impactful way which honestly helps in and out of the office. My only small critique is that some of the concepts felt a bit repetitive at times, but overall, it kept me engaged and thinking about how I could apply what I learned in real life.
