A supervillain from the city of Grayville has made a big mistake: He stole from one of my companies. Now he is on my radar, and it's only a matter of time before I find him, and of course, murder him.

Ironically, the only thing preventing me from bringing the unknown douchebag to final justice is Grayville’s famous law-abiding superhero: The Shadow Knight.

But even a hero as accomplished as the Shadow Knight can’t stop me and my team from ending the super villain threat.

And if Shadow Knight won’t accept that, he might have to die as well.

Great Story

mediocre parody of batman. highlights the ridiculousness of re arresting super villains over and over, and the sheer arrogance of batmans personality. unfortunately it does so with the subtlety of a sledgehammer.

the plot is decent, the main character's super power is often his duchbagery. the sex scenes are the most average normal vanilla sex described like they are somehow revolutionizing the act.

so it's great if a super hero power fantasy is all you wanted, like a B movie in book form, the terribleness being so blatant as to be good if you're in the right mood.

The main reason I gave the story and final review 4 instead of 3 stars is Norma, she's also the main reason I'll still give the next book a shot too.

super cringeworthy

I have enjoyed the story so far. Word of advice if you're listening to the audio books. listen to the first one enjoy it is a nice beginning. then when you listen to this one either stop before the final two chapters or hold off on this audiobook until the third one is released. the final two chapters are more of a setup for the next book then the finishing of this one.

Heads Up

Without trying to spoil to much this is a little more predictable of just stepping into the Batman world.

Interesting but not as good.

Lots of fun! Just bought books 3 & 4 and looking forward to them both. Also proves that others besides Jeffrey Kafer can do these stories properly😉

Fun read!
