If you're going to start a war, know you're willing to risk.

Ironvale. Splitdawn. Poisoncry.

Three bloodthirsty guilds that control the decaying corner of space called the Reaches. This balance of power exists at a tipping point. One nudge and chaos reigns. Sela Tyron is willing to supply that nudge to help her partner with an important rescue. Even if it means trusting a shifty criminal. Or turning herself into a power-armored assassin.

If you love gritty, epic space opera like The Expanse or Firefly, this third installment in Allies and Enemies series is custom made for you. 2017 Dragon Award Finalist for Best Military Science Fiction Novel by Dragon Con.

Suit up. Time to join the fight.

This trilogy has been gripping, heart pounding action from book to book and this last book did not disappoint. I was yelling in my head "YEAH" at the end because I wasn't sure there was going to be one. I love this narrator and her many voices, will find more and I now have a new author to follow:) ☆☆☆☆☆

Excellent finish to trilogy!

Good opening with very smooth progression. Author spent much time building storyline. Very involving progression. Narration was accomplished with good vocal pressure.
I recommend this audiobook for ages 14 and older due to some tense situations

Any J. Murphy does a terrific job of grabbing the listener's attention and drawing them into the story by her adept use of character development, world building and plot advancement. Her characters are engaging with well rounded personalities and flawed character traits. Their motivations, dialogue and actions are understandable. There were multiple plot twists and turns with plenty of suspense regarding the welfare of my favorite characters. This was a satisfying conclusion to the series. Erin Bateman did a superb job of bringing additional life to the characters. I was provided a free review copy of this audio book and voluntarily leaving this review.

The series continues with this 3rd book of 5. Asher, the former pirate captain, takes Erelah to his home. The damage that Tristan, a malevolent being who survives by taking control of different bodies, inflicted while preparing Erelah to be the perfect body, is now killing Erelah. Asher has to find Jon quickly to get a DNA sample to save Erelah. Meanwhile, Sela is sent on a mission away from Jon as part of a bargain they had to make.

The plot is convoluted and engaging. It kept my attention all the way through, ending with Erelah unhealed and other issues unresolved. The characters are well developed and the reading level is at least at high school ability. The narrator continues as an excellent story teller.

Read the series in order, it builds on itself

A wonderful conclusion to the story. Everyone finds everyone and some get a happily ever after. I really enjoyed the story and the characters thru all 3 books. The narration was better in this book and I enjoyed it very much. I have never read any books from this author but I am glad I got the opportunity to do so.

I received a free copy of this audiobook from StoryOrigin for an honest review.
