The "Excellent" Story Telling

Max Lucado's ability to wake up the stories and parables of Jesus is remarkable. I have never read where the Words of Jesus were expressed so plainly.
The Jesus talked about in this book were never put so plainly. I recommend this book to every pastor, minister and lay person alike.

Disappointed

i purchased this audio book to listen to in the car. I thought this book was going to take the words of Christ in the Bible and interpret them and help put them in context for the reader (listener).
Instead, the writer constantly instructs the reader/listener to look up passages on their own and make their own interpretations.
This book does not translate well into an audio book at all, and it did not provide the insights I was hoping for.
