Face your fears, or let them control you.

Welcome to Grapevine High, where fear, love, and self-discovery collide. FEAR introduces River, a curious freshman, and Xane, a charismatic girl with a secret—she’s a Synth, a synthetic human learning to understand emotions. As Xane grapples with the concept of fear, they both face bullying, high school drama, and the courage to step out of their comfort zones. This novella sets the stage for Xane's ongoing emotional journey, where each book delves deeper into her quest to master human emotions.

The adventure begins here, but it's just the first step in Xane’s emotional awakening. Will Xane be able to confront more challenging emotions as her journey continues?

The XANE series takes listeners on an unforgettable journey of emotional discovery, blending sci-fi adventure with themes of self-awareness and personal growth. Each volume deepens Xane’s understanding of what it means to be human, leading to a thrilling, emotionally charged conclusion.

Perfect for fans of Neal Shusterman’s Arc of a Scythe series, Marissa Meyer’s The Lunar Chronicles, Lauren Oliver’s Replica duology, and recent hits like K. Ancrum’s The Weight of the Stars and Mira Grant’s A Dowry of Blood, the XANE series will captivate YA sci-fi listeners who love stories about emotional intelligence, transformation, and the complexities of the human experience.

Loved the futuristic setting. The SciFi Haunted House was probably my favorite part. Reminds me of a futuristic Nancy Drew solving the mystery of emotions.
