Wow!

This book keeps you wanting more! Some answers from book one, some new questions, and many unexpected plot twists! 😱 I cannot wait to dive into book 3! I am quickly devouring this series! Definitely hooked! I recommend reading this one a day off and having all books readily available. I wasn’t able to put them down. Loving this page turning series! I cannot wait to see how the rest of this story unfolds! I also enjoy the narrator!

Great Story, Narration not the best.

I really enjoyed the storyline of this book and look forward to the third book being released in January 2024. While I enjoyed the narrator's performance for the FMC (Audible), I cringed every time she used different voices for the other characters, especially the MMC. For the MMC, the narrator made him seem like a complete idiot.

I’m on the fence.

Firstly, Jake only narrates the introduction and the epilogue. A heads up on this would have been nice. I thought I would only have to get through the first book with one narrator and the second one would be 2, because 2 were listed. But like a few I’ve come across, it was a fake out. Irritating. Anyway, the story was good, but frustrating because they couldn’t catch a break. These types of stories bug me. I realize they get to make multiple books into a series the longer they drag it out but, shit, can’t they sometimes beat the bad guys a little and still have the story continue? In conclusion, I’m buying the next one because I’m invested and hope there’s actually 2 narrators in it throughout the whole book. And I hope the good guys can catch a break. P.S- there are no explicit 🔥 scenes in this book. I noticed a reviewer said that and they are incorrect or lying. Just FYI.

Very Creative Story

The story has so many twists & turns that it creatively takes you with it. Warning tho...it is too graphic in its sex scenes & language.
