Fast paced Spicy Fae/Human Love Story with a twist

This is the second in the Fae Marked Series and though it can be enjoyed as a stand alone, I'd recommend reading the first installment to get a full perspective on the world building and a better understanding of Ella and Peri's relationship as well as the complicated relationship between the human and Fae realms.

This story is told from a Dual POV from Emmalee (Emma) and Braven with a small section told from Elowyn (Ella's) perspective. The story contains a Fae female lead with a human male lead who was a guard in the 'human realm' and suffers amnesia after an accident where he had tried to save someone. Emma finds and saves him and their fast paced love blossoms as he heals. Braven may be human but he is an alpha male when it counts, protective, nurturing and experienced. The spice in this book is delicious and the world building is expansive and draws you in!

Erin Neil does an AMAZING job in their narration and its clear even without specification of who's perspective it is. She even read Braven's POV in a deeper toner (even the spicey scenes told from his more... experienced *wink* view). Wonderful rendition and I highly recommend this audiobook and hope to see the rest of the series on here soon!

A.J. Knight gives a unique perspective on different couples and all the fun tropes in each of her books within the series, containing but not limited to: F/F, Fae Female/Human Male, M/M, Friends to Lovers, Enemies to Lovers, One bed, Slow burn as well as fast burn, Unseelie princes, Sun Nympths and so much more, each book is a fast read that leaves you satisfied - but wanting more!

Cute Spicy Story

This book was not bad but the narrator made it hard to focus on the story, for me. Without any other background in the series, I found myself lost and wondering if the story was moving too fast or if I was missing or forgetting parts. It got better in the end but it still felt a bit rushed for me.

I think if I chose to continue forward it will be with reading the books unless the narrator changes. Again, this is personal preference and I can see others really enjoying it but for me, I struggled.
