Not what I expected

This book was surprisingly good. Not at all what I expected, but great nonetheless. The last quarter of the book started in a different direction than I thought (which is always nice for someone who can see most endings coming). Can't wait for the next one.

I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this much more than other books from this author. They tend to be ‘adult’ fantasy kind of books, but without any payoff. This one was just a straight adventure.

My only problem was the narrator. There are several times when she tries to do a cracking voice , but it just makes it so I couldn’t understand what that character was saying. These characters didn’t appear more than a couple times but when they did what they said was crucial to the story, so it was very annoying.

Well written and performed sword and sorcery

Not post-apocalyptic, not sure why it's tagged as such. Not tagged and it isnt a litRPG like Macronomicons other fine works. Well written with twists, with humorous parts, but different and less percentage of humor to book as his first two series. Perhaps this book is inverted, hidden meaning implied. The next book cannot arrive soon enough :) Listen, enjoy and be entertained.
