Faith

Several years ago the Lord told me that I would write a book on Faith. I thought I knew what it would contain, I’m finding now that many chapters needed to be written in my life before I could dispense them to anyone else. In those days, faith was all about the supernatural life that resulted in miracles and healings and such things. In those days, it was enough to trust God for provision. Externally, some might conclude those are the most vital aspects of faith, but they are simply surface compared to knowing Him and the faith that He calls into my our lives on a daily basis. It is this faith that I write about. Not a set of doctrines to be believed. Not the whimsical wind of the gifts of the spirit that result in supernatural activity in a believers life. But rather, faith that draws us to believe when things are not seen, to trust when things appear the opposite of what is happening, and when the paradox of living in the in-between stage of the now and the “not yet” Kingdom that causes our paradigms to align with those that Jesus wants for every one of us.
