A grumpy former bodyguard, an heiress in disguise, and an accidental roommate situation…

If I’d known a tall, broad mountain of a man would crash the one-bedroom cabin I’m borrowing, I might have handled things differently.

I still would’ve lied to him. He doesn’t need to know all of my reasons for wanting to meet my surprise triplet half brothers while undercover as a housekeeper.

But if I’d known I was going to have a surprise roommate, I wouldn’t have rigged a homemade security system in the cabin that left him…erm… Let’s just call it easy to spot in a crowd.

And he wouldn’t have tried to blackmail me when he figured out my real identity.

And I wouldn’t have been so attracted to his audacity that I started looking deeper at the wounded man beneath the gruff exterior.

And then we wouldn’t be here, with him making me scream his name for all of the good reasons every night.

But I can’t keep faking Cinderella forever, and when it’s time for me to come clean, he’ll have to choose—loyalty to my half brothers or belief in me and the noble reason for the long game I’ve been playing.

Faking Cinderella is a swoony romcom featuring a mountain of a man with an even bigger wounded heart and an heiress determined to right a wrong. This opposites attract, secret identity romance stands alone and comes with a sweetly satisfying happily ever after.

Tropes include opposites attract, secret identity, roommates to lovers, enemies to lovers, blackmail, revenge, secret family, found family, bodyguard, maid, and lady billionaire boss.

This book was so much fun! We got to go back to SnaggleTooth Creek and play with the triplets!! I have been waiting for them to reappear for so long! Faking Cinderella is book three in the Sisterhood series but also involves characters from the series 3 bffs and a Wedding and from The Last Eligible Billionaire. While I recommend reading all of these to enjoy all of the Easter eggs and cameos it is not necessary to enjoy the story!

Faking Cinderella had everything that I love about Pippa Grant books. Romance in the middle of all this stuff happening and full of silly antics and fun. I find that my face hurts from grinning while reading these stories. Her books always makes my heart lighter. So if you want to escape for a bit and giggle and swoon I would definitely recommend reading Faking Cinderella.

BTW I listened to the audio and it was perfection! Maxine Mitchell and Ryan West did an excellent job with the narration!

It is great being back in Pippa Grant’s wonderful “Small Town Sisterhood” world again for another fabulous romantic comedy, a captivating story with lots of heart, humor, and heat! You can not help but fall in love with the characters, their shenanigans and idiosyncrasies, and a meddling moose. This third book in the series is Margie Johnson, aka Margo, and Rhys O’Malley’s story, and I was looking forward to Margo’s story and learning more about her after meeting her in the earlier books. Margo is Daphne Merriweather-Brown’s sister from “The Grumpiest Billionaire”, a not to be missed story, and after their father disowned Daphne, Margo has been plotting to avenge her and take her father down. Learning of her father’s infidelities and that she had triplet half-brothers out there, she was going to have them be part of that plan, but to pull it off she needed to hide her true identity from them until she got the on board. Margie went to meet her brothers, and they offered her a cabin to stay in, the same cabin Rhys was staying in. Their first meeting was a scene to remember, hilarious and one Rhys would not live down. Rhys is friends with the triplets, and Decker asked him to look into Margie, so sharing a cabin will be convenient for his investigation. He feels like he knows her, and it does not take him long to figure it out, and he makes that work to his advantage. It was great watching those two interact, get to know each other, and see their relationship morph into something so much more. I loved all the layers of the story and how it all played out with the perfect balance of drama, a touch of angst, witty dialogue and humor, heartfelt emotions, and a slow burn but so worth the wait romance. As always, the writing, plot, and world-building are incredible, as are the complexity of the characters, their growth, and development. I also loved seeing the characters from the earlier books and how everything came together in the end, which was fabulous, and the epilogues were everything. Pippa Grant, thank you for another wonderfully entertaining story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Maxine Mitchell and Ryan West’s stellar performance makes for a delightful listen, and they did an outstanding job animating the characters, embodying them completely. They were naturals in their roles, with Mitchell nailing it as Margo, fierce and confident, and West doing the same as Rhys, serious and perfectly grumpy. Both are fantastic performing the roles of the side/secondary characters, and their versatility and talent as voice artists truly shine. They set the ideal tone for the story, handled the humor and witty dialogue effortlessly, and their expressive performance conveyed all the characters’ emotions, making you feel each one. These two entertaining storytellers deliver an enthralling performance that is captivating while taking the already amazing story to another level.

Female Billionaire, bodyguard mountain man, secrets, small town, rom com with hot spice!

No one does billionaires like Pippa Grant. They are never what you expect, and so much better than anything you could have thought of. I love all the twists and turns that pop up. And it really is a rom com, but there is still a lot of heart to the story. Fav author ever!

This is not the first book in the series, but it can be read as a complete stand-alone. However I think you will get more out of it if you have read the other books as you have met some of the characters before. But don’t let that deter you. This can be a stand-alone. But it will make you want to read all the other books!

I listened to the audiobook of this, and loved it! I think that hearing the voices gives you so much more as a reader. You really can feel the emotions. You connect much quicker to the characters as well. These narrators were top notch.

I absolutely adored everything about this hilarious, heartfelt, and swoony romance! I loved the hilarious meet cute between Rhys and Margot and then the push/pull, slow burn sexual tension, along with their fun and flirty banter had me completely devouring every word! Margot learned through DNA testing that she has three half brothers that she never knew about. She travels across the country in disguise hoping to get to know the triplets before she reveals who she is and who their horrible father is. Rhys has been hired by his friend, one of the triplets, to find out any secrets this new woman may be hiding. Rhys and Margot quickly discover each other's true identities, and blackmail each other to keep their secrets. Rhys is loyal to his friends, but the more time he spends with Margot, the more he is convinced that she is not a spoiled rich girl, but is sweet, and caring. As Margot gets to know Rhys and her brothers, she finally feels seen, cherished, and loved. But when her secrets are revealed, will that betrayal be too much for the triplets to forgive and make her flee leaving them and Rhys behind, broken hearted? I fell head over heels in love with Rhys and Margot. I loved the way they challenged each other, their fun banter, and their chemistry was explosive. I loved Margot's strength and thoughtfulness, and swooned over the way Rhys was both a grumpy alpha and a sweet romantic. I also loved catching up with all their supportive and quirky family and friends, including a nosey moose, who made this story even more entertaining. There were so many laugh out loud moments but many emotional, sweet and sizzling moments as well.
Ryan West and Maxine Mitchell were fantastic at bringing this delightful, laugh out loud, story to life! They were so perfect as Rhys and Margot as they made these smart, unique and witty characters come to life. I also think they have perfect comedic timing. I loved their humor, and their easy ability to make this hilarious, heartwarming, and sizzling romance one that you will want to listen to again and again!

Hilarious, heartfelt, and swoony romance!
